Bill Luetkenhaus

Almost every step of Bill Luetkenhaus' remarkable career has prepared him for the real estate business. Although he didn't know it at the time, each career move gave him more training for his current success. A lifelong resident of St. Charles County, Bill was trained as a plumber at Ranken Technical College. He worked as a plumber in commercial and residential construction, starting his own plumbing business in 1988. In that same year he first entered public service as an Alderman for the small town of Josephville where he is a life long resident. In 1990, at age 28, he became the youngest person ever to be elected to hold the office of Western District Commissioner for St. Charles County.

Bill was elected to the Missouri House of Representative for the 12th District (St. Charles and Lincoln County) in 1992. He was elected to five consecutive terms, distinguishing himself with numerous awards including: Missouri Chamber of Commerce Spirit of Enterprise; Missouri Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture; Missouri Association of Insurance Agents Legislator of the Year; Missouri Catholic Conference Sir Thomas More Citizenship Award; and Outstanding Young Man of America.

Bill retired from public service in 2003 to spend more time with his wife Patti and their children, Katie and Andrew. He took with him lessons he had learned from public service. First, winning comes from hard work. To win his first election, he personally knocked on 10,000 doors. Second, honesty wins out every time. And third, always conduct every aspect of life and business with the utmost integrity.

He is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wentzville Lion's Club, St. Charles Association of Realtors, St. Louis Association of Realtors, Better Business Bureau, St. Louis Home Builder's Association, the National Association of Home Builders, and the Commercial Information Exchange.
